Ethiopian Capital Market Infrastructure Service Providers License Fees
A Capital Market Infrastructure
Service Provider offers essential services for the functioning of capital
markets. This includes services like trading platforms, clearing and settlement
systems, data and analytics providers, and infrastructure for securities
custody and registration. They support the smooth operation of financial
markets by providing the necessary technological and logistical framework for
trading, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and security in transactions.
As per Ethiopian Capital Market
Authority, “Market Infrastructure Service Providers” means a licensed securities
Exchange, Over-the-Counter Market and Securities Depository and Clearing company.
Application Fee
Where an Appointed Representative
changes appointment from one Capital Market Service Provider to another, it
shall pay a Transfer fee as follows:

Annual License Renewal Fee
A Securities Exchange, an
Over-the-Counter Market and a Securities Depository and Clearing Company shall
pay an annual license renewal fee of 1% of its gross revenue.
