Dashen Bank Introduces Advanced Safe Deposit Box Service for Secure Asset Storage
Dashen Bank has officially launched a comprehensive
Safe Deposit Box service, offering customers a highly secure and convenient
way to store their valuables such as gold, jewelry, important documents, and
other precious items.
The new service is equipped with cutting-edge security
technology and robust organizational standards to ensure the highest level
of protection. According to Andualem Belete, Director of the Treasury
Management Department, the service was initially designed with mining sector
clients in mind, but it is open to all individual and institutional
customers seeking reliable storage options.
“While this service caters to clients in the mining
industry, any customer looking for secure storage can access it,” Andualem
explained.
Customers can choose from four box sizes—small, medium,
large, and extra-large— depending on their storage needs. From precious
metals and passports to certificates and other sensitive assets, Dashen
Bank offers flexibility and safety for all.
To enroll in the service, customers must complete a brief
registration process at any Dashen Bank branch or district office, after which
they can visit the bank’s head office to receive a special ID
granting access to their assigned deposit box.
Beyond enhancing customer convenience, the Safe Deposit Box
service is also expected to generate additional revenue through annual
rental fees, helping Dashen Bank attract new customers while maintaining its
strong focus on asset safety and customer satisfaction.
As a trailblazer in Ethiopia's digital banking
landscape—especially through its innovative SuperApp—Dashen Bank
continues to invest in modern financial services that meet the evolving
needs of customers across all sectors.
